Florida Brownfields Redevelopment Atlas Now Available

With the goal of better understanding the impacts of federal funding on communities through brownfields redevelopment, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection utilized U.S. EPA CERCLA 128(a) grant funds to initiate a collaboration with the Center for Brownfields Research and Redevelopment at the University of South Florida. This ongoing partnership, beginning in 2018, resulted in the development of an online geospatial tool that can be used to evaluate social and economic impacts throughout the state. The online tool is available to the public and is now known as the Florida Brownfields Redevelopment Atlas.
